MEET SUTIL LUBE

GQ BEST OVERALL LUBE 2023

Better ingredients. Better lube. SUTIL lube brings slick, long-lasting, non-sticky moisture to your play, with ingredients that soothe and balance the body to keep you in the mood. Their formulas include actives like hyaluronic acid and lotus root to give you lasting hydration with long-term benefits.

Your body naturally produces hyaluronic acid to keep your tissues and joints lubricated. Apply it to your intimate areas, and feel the silky, slippery difference.

Hyaluronic acid can also help alleviate painful sex, and when used regularly, it helps counter vaginal dryness and atrophy. It’s a star in the skincare world, and it deserves to be in your lube, too. Plus, SUTIL’s hyaluronic acid is derived from plants, so it’s as green as can be.

STAY WETTER FOR LONGER

When the lube lasts this long, there’s no need to reapply, so there are no disruptions to your play. Lots of lubes with this kind of longevity are made with silicone, which is hard to wash off the body and bedsheets, leaves a greasy residue, and can destroy silicone toys. Plus, silicone lubes may trap bacteria inside the vagina, so people with sensitive vaginas are better off without them. SUTIL lubes have the staying power of silicone without all these drawbacks.

SUTIL’S PROMISE

As a family-owned, ethically run brand, SUTIL always sources and processes ingredients in a way that minimizes their environmental impact. Many of the ingredients come from small family farms.

SUTIL’s formulas help promote an antifungal and antiviral environment in intimate areas, and they’re non-irritating, so even the most sensitive people can benefit. As a matter of fact, doctors and pelvic floor therapists recommend SUTIL to their clients—the brand has the fan mail to prove it.

ABOUT SUTIL

Founded in Canada in 1989, SUTIL began as a maker of good-for-you massage oils and body lotions. As founder Mellta Swift got deeper into the personal care industry, she realized that what people used on their intimate areas was often lower-quality than their body care. So, starting in 2000, she transitioned to making personal lubricant with Ecocert ingredients.

Since then, Mellta and her daughter Nathanda have raised the bar for lube and used the most sustainable ingredients, sourcing methods, and packaging possible—even before sustainability was cool. Their eco-friendly and ethical practices make them a perfect match for FUN FACTORY.

  • “If my genitals had a superhero uniform, it would be a coat of Sutil. It’s a water-based lubricant that lasts like a silicone-based lube, and leaves my skin impressively moisturized.”
    — Artemisia FemmeCock

  • “Sutil makes glycerin-free, paraben-free, water-based lubricant from white lotus root and oat beta glutan. It feels fantastic.”
    — Kristen Sollee at Bustle

  • “The fact is that Sutil is the longest lasting water-based lube I’ve tried.”
    — Wetlandia

I’VE HEARD HORNY GOAT WEED CAN INTERFERE WITH PREGNANCY. IS SUTIL LUBE SAFE TO USE IF I’M TRYING TO CONCEIVE?

Yes! In the quantities used in SUTIL’s Luxe and Hathor Pure formulas, it won’t interfere with conception.

ARE SUTIL LUBES GLUTEN-FREE?

Rich and Hathor Pure lubes are gluten-free. Though oats don’t have gluten, the oat beta-glucan in Luxe is processed in a facility that also processes barley, so it’s not totally gluten-free.

WHAT IS THE PLEASURE TONIC?

SUTIL’s pleasure tonic is a blend of three good-for-you botanicals: jujube extract, horny goat weed, and ginseng. All three of these ingredients have antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, antiviral, antibacterial, and antifungal benefits, and they reinforce each other’s effects. The result? The tonic creates the most soothing bodily environment for receiving pleasure. Fun fact: These botanicals have been used for centuries for their aphrodisiac qualities!
